Lenticular filter options/filter sock options. What companies would y’all recommend? I’m curious to do some digging for a client and my own labs future needs. Have a couple companies in mind but would love other input as well of course

I will do my best. Filtration is a big topic, and filtration post-ethanol extraction is still more or less the wild west, with things changing every day, as others have pointed out. I’m learning with everyone else.

That said, there are many things with regard to filtration that are well-known in food & bev but could be better known in the ethanol extraction field. So, I keep my eye on these forums and try to chime in if I think I have something useful to add. In this case, my feeling is that 226/P7 cartridges are the way to go because of their security, versatility, and wide availability due to how common they are in wineries breweries, and distilleries.

We’ve worked with Graver Filtration for many years. As others have said, they make a good, reliable, and fairly-priced product. They’re also happy to offer customers free sample cartridges for in-house testing. If you, or anyone out there wants to give one of their cartridges a shot, send me a DM or give us a call (707-963-9681) and I can get you set up with samples.
