I did a Google lens search seems like the company is no longer in business.
That opening bid sure is attractive
ya kind of figured with a 250-600K$ price tag on at max 5k value could only fool so many people and any radical drop in price would cause most that had purchased one to return it and recoup their losses. even at its current price of 2500$ if it had to be shipped would be cheaper to just buy everything separately then just assemble it that stand actually makes it almost impossible to ship economically for how small of a footprint it has.
I asked bvv a while ago why their asme certified cls were more than just building one, I even listed the parts with prices and did the math.
They replied because itās certified asme approved extraction unit.
So whatever certs it has maybe it does bump the price⦠Idk Iām not in marketing⦠Maybe another company fabbed something for too much and trying to recover the losses⦠Idk
asme certified have to go through a review process and weld inspection, hydro testing. its basically just a big checklist before it can be stamped ASME. it does cost a bit for the certification not sure the prices now but was over 1,000$ when we had to have some vessels rated. The AIA would have to send out a person and inspect the vessel various time throughout the building process dude even had to live on sight during the fabricationā¦
So is it crazy that the price of the ffe this person is trying to sell the price it is?
so since the systems not ASME rated and its simple raw fabrication the markup on the cyclone is almost 10x alone for claimed fabrication. honestly when I saw this I added all parts to shopping cart and it totaled 2,358$ for everything minus the stand and that type of stand just hinders the extractor in so many ways very easy to see there was no R&D or engineer involved in the design as transport would be one of the first things looked at.
Can you post photo of shopping cart? I want to make sure the finished $3,500 cyclone and $15,000 ASME rated heat exchanger is in there.
appears someoneās already buying it so why do you need more bumps here just be happy it finally sold after 2yearsā¦
