So I was decarbing some oil and it bubbled out of my flask while I was out of the room :(( I was told by the guy who sold us the set up that it would be trash if I got any oil on the mantle. Can I just heat it up slowly and let it burn off or do I need to replace the mantle again? The highest I heat to is 275C at the mantle (I don’t use a temp probe) pic included for reference.

That’s really not that bad and should easily burn off

Get it somewhere ventilated. Best would be outside and slowly ramp up like you do when you break the mantle in. When it starts to smoke don’t increase the temps again until the smoke settles.

Yeah I think the link I shared said turn it up all the way. I don’t recommend that, follow @thesk8nmidget advice forsure
