What does that AAA indoor ā€œcripppā€ hemp look like?
Seems the industry could use a more objective grading system like used in agricultural commodities.

Sounds like the farmers got hit with a load of reality to the face. Well, this is capitalism. If they wanted guaranteed profit on their harvest they should convince the government to make hemp a strategic reserve again. Not too likely…

Ya they will all probably go monocrop some other shit, all the while destroying their soil.

Certainly a bad problem in all sorts of ways but let’s be real here. The problem most of these people had was they put no real effort into learning how to grow hemp well or the infrastructure to harvest and store it. I literally was at a hemp field recently where they didn’t even finish harvesting and let the plants in the ground to desiccate into dust. Looked like a bunch of cactuses and it made me sad just looking at it. Another filled semitruck loads of product more mold than hemp and expected people to be happy to receive it. If they had tried to grow more different crops they would have probably stretched their attention even thinner and failed even worse with multiple crops none of which were properly done. Farmer’s who had realistic expectations and knowledge of the crop had opportunity to make a profit this year. Like someone else had said they still could have made more than they would have planting corn.

Like that Florida cripp maybe @Killa12345 knows what I’m talking about

Makes me glad I started small this year. We did about 3 acres in Michigan. Our Harvest is the best I’ve seen around. Lots of farmers that had no clue. Full of seeds talking how they may have a dispensary interested lol. My commercial vegetable growing background mixed with indoor cannabis background put out a nice hemp crop for my first shot at it

So what’s up with ā€œsmoke-able hempā€ ? First time I’ve heard such a thing.

If you want to smoke and get some CBD, isn’t it easier to dab some extract instead ?

Or is this a niche for people who just like the act of smoking?

Some people enjoy smoking cannabis, if so, they may also enjoy smoking a high CBD flower, or now CBG etc.

I prefer the extract myself, but on occasion will smoke some when in the mood. But to me…this is why ā€œsmokeable hempā€ has got to be basically high end indoor…must be massively appealing to smoke to actually want to smoke it.

In my experience, if you go to a local smoke shop or tobacco place in a non rec state you can purchase cbd flower. Everything I’ve seen on the shelf is not cured or trimmed to my liking. There is no real smell and It’s pretty harsh to smoke.

But if you look at the stuff I posted above, it has a nice smell to it and is much smoother to roll up.

I would much rather smoke concentrate but I haven’t seen as much of that around and if it is I wouldn’t trust it if it’s coming from the same spot as the flower.
