The chaibio is like really high on my wish list.
If you end up getting one for inhouse let me know how it goes. The sales guys are amazing there and they will help you with your use case and developing an SOP around an available reagent kit.

Makes me wonder about terrain theory again.
Purple City Labs got back to me.
Looks like $15 a sample with pretty minimal operator or equipment requirements.
…so now I’ve got to dig deeper, and see about getting that down to $5 sample so we can test WTF we please, and get a real handle on what’s going on.
Problem is, I’m far more comfortable with qPCR, and that adds $8-20k to equipment costs.
