yes, let me comment an clean the code a little bit, and i’ll put everything on github soon (arduino source, ADS1220 wiring, and linux bash acquisition script)
this solution can be used with ezData (very basic chromatography software) or Unichrom (still working on this)
Yeah, there are a thousand ways to skin this cat… adding usb serial adc input is one of the sample projects with just about every microcontroller out there. Great way to learn the code functions.
They also have modules already built you can just connect to your pc as a USB ADC and work from there.
hi folks !
it took some time, but here is the github repo for my cheap and easy DIY ADC/CDS
don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions
Did anyone here ever get the MS portion of their machines running smooth?
DUDE! That is so badass! I’ve been following this thread since the start, and I almost went with an ebay university pull GC last year. I decided to go with SRI because I knew nothing about analytical chem nor the machines and they had/have fantastic support. I am very interested at getting a cheap ebay GC to play with because I think using your repo to collect data with a cheap GC will enable many people to test their own products which I think is a great thing for everyone! Nice work dude!
