Anyone looking for dewaxed extracts with no crc should probably look into what i just said. I like my terps in a full spectrum and non-oxidized. I have built multiple simple exrractors to use co2 as a propellant and make butane into an aerosol. Co2 reduces the chance of explosion and danger drastically. Ive done thousands of beautiful extracts with no issues. Using these principles you can gather a wider spectrum of terps and do it more selectively

Oh no karen. Alert the masses. That’s me in a barn with bay doors and a situation where i didnt care about recycling my solvent. Im sorry that i dont share your weak fearful mentality. But ive done 1000s of extracts and no explosions. I understand what I’m doing extremely well. Just because i dont share your epistemology doesn’t mean i am not aware of how to safely manipulate the same resources as you. I am a private chef and my food is about perfection. I am also a decent free climber. But, I dont always wear proper ppe when performing either task. So I guess nobody should listen to me. Tell your worries to the people who admire my products and seek out my recipes daily:)

This just sounds like a dry ice bomb with the potential for an actual explosion as well. Vapor explosions are bad enough in the case of being between the LEL and UEL.
Just imagine the tank holding the dry ice and hydrocarbon mix explodes due to a clogged prv and rising co2 pressure, sending an atomized cloud of liquid hydrocarbon in every direction, just itching to find an ignition source. Better pray there’s enough co2 to lower the o2 levels enough to prevent catastrophe.
Just because one can doesn’t always mean one should. Cr a zy experiments can be cool, sure, but it’s still a lottery of fate one would be best off not playing.
Any idea how much pressure dry ice can build in a sealed vessel? Might be a good point of reference to ponder before deciding the system to safely handle such a mixture is good to go.

Well aside from the wild trolling that has taken place in this poor innocent thread, I have had nice results with the THCa dilution at 5%.
3 months now with my control samples and have no red rings. The whole cartridge has darkened to a golden color instead of light yellow but it is much preferable than the results I had previously seen.
I will eventually get to water washing when the budget allows for a reactor but as of now I am happy with the outcome.
Also my state limits the amount of THCd9 we can sell in a single unit so the 5% THCa cut allows me to have an all THC cartridge without having to spike with CBD, a win win if you ask me.
