I hate it when I see this thread get bumped; makes me worry. Vibration can take stuff apart. I have hard line going to a pump and I always tighten my tri clamps on it and they are a bit loose if I forget to tighten them.
Tie wire is your friend. Regular steel tie wire will make your stuff rust so I’d advise getting a small spool of stainless MIG wire to do the same job.
Thank you good sir.
I’m planning on just switching it to a soft line as a vibration break.
This is what happens when you wash all the lube out of the bearings and keep going…
Only reason it didn’t also eat the operator, was it couldn’t get enough electrickery to continue (the main fuse stepped in and said “ENOUGH!!”)
I diagnosed and advised “needs new bearings and seals”, but apparently that was ignored, and the machine was run for another month or so.
This was not flexible enough for the task…lasted several months before it quit…
These would work, but sourcing them appears non trivial.
Any reason to not just use brew hose? Especially if they aren’t under pressure I’d expect them to last for years with vibration before failing
So you lose bearings and gain musket ammo. I see no issue here.
Fuckin` redcoat propaganda at it’s best.
Hate having galled balls
New phrase
Will ya quit gallin my balls dammit
Silicone? Not up for it compatibly-wise.
Too short for most assemblies (this is my replacement for above).
Might have room for this on new setup…
What solvent are they using?
Have had good luck with denatured (cold) ethanol and “beer hose” like what glacier sells though I’ve usually used a local hose fab place in Denver

2” convoluted SS tube.
Comes with a SS over braid, and is usually crimped and welded to whatever ends you’re after.
However…
Seals well enough for my purposes atm…
I see what u did there
