They are damn ‘smart’, I guess it’s because people here usually have VPN on their phone so they can view those ’supposed to be banned‘ listings if it’s available via app. I used to be a verified made-in-china seller ,need to pay more then 7k USD every year but I just don’t like this website
cant you use a vpn on your phones web browser? its interesting they have hidden categories and listings though
I don’t know how they make it but it’s very difficult to open any vape listings here even with VPN , so even other people are selling counterfeit products you have no idea on that. This company is very smart, they are a listed company too but obviously they are against the law , Which banned all vape device online sales. Alibaba relist all vape devices immediately the time gov asked for ,and Alibaba refunded verified sellers then if they don’t want to switch to other listings. On the contrary, made in china asked verified sellers to sign a disclaimer and kept all listings so they can kept earning greedy money. Sales people from made in china is the most aggressive people I’ve met in my life, they can sit all day along in your office even after you asked him to leave. They kept sending messaging after you told him clearly you don’t want it. So only option is blocking them . Not just,my own experience, I heard too much complain . Of course I didn’t mean you can’t find good suppliers on this website
Hey y’all. Long time away from the forum. Glad to see so many of them same people here after a couple absent years!
Like @Killa12345 said 30-50% margin is well beyond most items that are sold after all overhead is considered and is a business model that definitely works for many BM entrepreneurs out there.
Also .10 per on labor is wild. Are you making vapes in Cambodia or something? I’d say that bare best labor pricing realistically is between .25-.50 all in. People get super burnt out when pumping pens and need to get paid well to stay motivated.
that’s funny
Realistically with a vape jet costs are 4cents to fill and lets call its 6 cents for screw capping.
Cart farmer is more like 30cents with labor and clean up and capping.
Packaging is a whole other beast with so many variables.
50 cents is a good average and depnding on addtional packaging up to 75 cents.
The problem is your math is wrong, costs are probably well under $4. So 8 per wouldn’t be too terrible.
HW will come a bit cheaper than 2.60. Reliability is partially on your fill.
You may need some adjustments to your formulations, but good shops can get away with running much lower quality hw by tweaking inputs one way or another…
The rest of your numbers are further off. Conversion oil drops that sustainably. Some of the fillers once optimized can do enough an hour that im sure those are wildly off too. At scale and that market segment you likely mix your own terps, so that number isn’t even in range (probably costs closer to 25c a ML than 2.50$)
Prices are steadily falling, and competition is steadily growing. It’s better to 2x on todays sale than to hold and have it expire out/suffer further market wide price drops. Also borrowing money is difficult right now…The answer to your question lays in optimization and efficiency up and down the entire production chain.
I remember an operation here in florida switching from cart farmers to vape jets and they imploded. Vape jets do 800-1500 carts per hour if i recall correctly
My friend this is not a pissing contest.
Im aware of the group your talking about.
We use both units.
Yours is by far the best set up for someone starting out, on a low budget or just needing something super quick.
There is always clean up with a human filling.
The qc process is extended when using your machine.
That being said i have bought 3 of them ove rthe years and used them to start production in europe over buying another vape jet.
That being said vape jet doesnt need a human. The fills are always the same.
When we ran the nunbers it costs more to run your unit vs vape jet.
That being said we will still use yours more often than vape jet for smaller runs as there is more flexibitly with new hardware as you dont have a computer interface.
Its like comparing the Mercedes-Benz to a ford. Ford sells far more than Mercedes-Benz. They both have their own lane, different customer bases.
The only real question is what is the problem your solving for the customer.
