Brett’s always seemed like a solid dude to me, although perhaps we have different backgrounds and perspectives. Competitor of mine as he may be - perhaps its worth reaching out to him privately if there are concerns about his product quality. I don’t see the need to publicly call negative attention to him if its maybe some issue that could be resolved privately.
This may be the most interesting comment on this entire thread. 95% selectivity in either direction is quite a feat - I doubt you’ll elucidate much beyond that result. This was performed in your own lab or an affiliates of yours?
@2handies the chromatography is gonna be a bitch. If you’re going into it with 50/50, you’re gonna have a shitty yield. You effectively have to emphasize the ratio prior to chromatography for any reasonable return. Just my 0.02

Is it possible to ship to Japan?
If you get someone to handle the shipping/brokering, then it can ship anywhere. My general feelings about international are that unless I’m capturing a larger dollar per kilogram its not a good use of my time to navigate the shipping requirements of a dozen different countries. That being said, if you communicate all relevant shipping/customs requirements and accept the full burden of risk then I’ll ship product wherever you like - but I bear no responsibility once the product leaves my hands.

Good communication, also the sample was of high quality. Just not recommended for international shippings, since we are waiting over two month for the product.
Ordered a kg for 3500usd in January which got shipped to the wrong country (Australia, not Austria). Wasn’t offered a replacement so I ordered another kg for 2500usd beginning of March to get things started, which hasn’t arrived yet tho. David offered to reship the first kg once it’s back from Australia and add 250g of HHCO as apology for the delay (which is appreciated) or a refund of 2500usd, even when the missing kg was priced higher.
Since David seems like a nice person I can recommend his product and won’t initiate a VISA Card charge-back even when I feel a little bit fucked paying 3800usd (incl shipping) for a kilo and just getting 2500usd refunded.
@Bret_HoneyGold maybe you can help him in the future with international shippings.
