I don’t bake medias and I run cold.

Baking my media i haven’t notice much of a difference and I run cold as well but have read running threw the filter hot would help with media efficiency.

Yeah possibly, I’ve never had to do that. I can see how high moisture medias might need it.

When you are letting it dry out after the whip are you pulling vac?

This has been helpful for me.
It sounds like you’re pouring out of your collection vessel.
You put on maybe a hot plate or hot bath around 95f.
Whip the shiz out of it for a good while, maybe let it sit and repeat a few times untill it’s looking closer to crumble.
THEN you put in the vac oven (for the first and only time) and pull vac down to help purge?.
