Their Pad Thai is really good and probably the biggest 2 person meal I’ve gotten from them. For breakfast, nothing beats their Breakfast Scarmble. Looks like pre-chewed food, but goddamn is it tasty. Three Sisters Stew is a good soup and also a ton of food. I’ve only had a few of theirs that I wasn’t fond of.

They still have yet to make a SPAM Musubi, though, so I made one the size of a casserole dish to hold us over until they do.

Looks like they have stepped up the MRE quality.

No hahahahahahah that would be hilarious though.

Little jet boil kit and like 1 1/4 cups of water. They recommend between 1 1/2 cups to 1 2/3 cups on the ones I have been eating but I like them a bit less soupy.

Have you tried their scrambled eggs and bacon?

I haven’t! Will have to grab one.

This is my little stove set up.

Works like a charm and packs down nicely

My favorite piece of camping gear right there

The one from MSR is just as good, if not better. I have the version that was made before Jetboil sued them for having too similar of a name. I’ve had tons of issues with all of my Jetboil equipment, especially the more expensive items. Would not buy again.

No, but there is a thread that’s designated for food. Waaay different from the thread that’s about tricks of the trade.

I’ve been messing with my sous vide a bunch lately trying to get really cheap/tough cuts to come out good. This one was amazing. 2lb London Broil (and buy one get one free), marinated overnight in teriyaki/ soy/ worcestershire and rubbed down with garlic paste. Had it set at 135° for 6 hours. I was gonna do 8 hours and I’m glad I didn’t. It would have been like mushy tender. Seared it on a cast iron with some butter and my two friends were calling bullshit that it was London Broil. Anyone else have some good sous vide recipes?
