Nertart’s Bay Oregon
That looks fucking amazing
That’s what she said
Gaw damn.
Goat milk ice cream… who would’ve thought lol
It tastes like a mix between talenti and haagan daas (however you spell that shit). Going to get some small ice cream containers so I can give it out to my family and friends. See how they like it.
Really want to add some disty to a batch…
D8 goat milk ice cream brand coming soon
That sounds fire… maybe even hash too…
That even on its own sounds amazing.
Good job… may need to try ice cream making one day
The old school way
I had been using salt slurry in my process. it rotted my stainless hoses. now today my chiller coil got a hole. thankfully i noticed it on vac and not full of tane. Im buying dry ice to use on my ice cream machine from now on if I chill the whole tank it should be able to work and recover using nitrogen and no pump or coil. But when i get the dollar bags of ice i get a popeyes sandwich too. on topic
It rotted your stainless hoses? Like a stainless braided ptfe hose with FJIC?
Didnt you rinse them out after using them like that?
you should penentrant test everything you were using with saltwater
I obv didnt rinse the hoses. I think what happened is i coiled them up into a bucket that had previously held salt solution= learn from me. the chiller was a surprise. i dont use salt on that but prolly ran out of dry ice they are closed and had to move hydrocarbons so bought ice and salt
that is so much effort to test it all every time- my issue is i run intermittantly. prollly should retest each time
it’s a different type of test to check for pitting and cracks
I wasnt running columns in salt. not even the coil but i did when i ran out of dry ice and i didnt rinse. it said 304 but it broke
Saltwater is rough on stainless, they use Monel/copper-nickel alloys for that usually iirc
im using calcim chloride which is hot salt too
