Thanks for the reply, our lab did mention this to us at one point. We event tried sending samples in glass containers to avoid this.
After reading your post though i asked my lab techs about this. SMH they told me they pulled the samples with a syringe and put it into the glass.
So we are going to retest this hypothesis.

Yeah, this whole thing surprises me. EO is very reactive. I’m baffled it would sit around in the product for any long length of time.

you fucking rock!! we sent in empty syringes to our lab and they tested for EO. most came back at loq detect. One came in at 1.4 EO. You helped solve this! THANK YOU
