IME: 86.5f with a flip every 4 to 6 hours for a week did it for me. Each vacuum pump run time was 5 mins. I based that temperature on the fact that around 173.1f is the boiling point of etoh yet we run at the rule of halves when we’re dealing with anything involving being under vacuum to retain the good shit unless we’re aiming for RSO.
So to retain color and terps (most that I’ve gotten out of any etoh shatter runs) it was to keep purging at half the boiling point of etoh. I used the ice packs under the trays to flip every etoh shatter ever.
If you’re trying to have a quick turn-over time and are an actual lab for production and not personal use then I can see speeding it up and using the same temp as you would a rotovap to purge.

Im suprised people are still trying this. You can get thca/sugar for a a dollar a gram wholesale. Just buy some good terps and mix it and vape brand/distill the crude. Ethanol terps are horrible and i wouldnt evne soak the plant matter jsut -40 and a quick dip.
Still had the fresh frozen gg4 tasting like shit.
Yeah CLS w/distilled whip-it always gave a better terp profile than Ethanol. Ethanol is absolute ass, it’s just cheaper and you can wash more at once.
Yeah we all know about buying disty and terps but …

Im not the target market either lol alot of people who are on forums arent. But that doesnt change the fact you can profit off a more sellable product and just move onto a hydrocarbon set up right after.
Same concept except he believes hydrocarbon is the way first, to each their own I guess. “than again im not in the biz” xD
