I use methanol for winterizing, works the best for me hands down, just be hella careful

I use the CD12 denatured too. I extract in it at -50 and don’t need to winterize it before distillation.

I would just try 2nd passing it. That’s a lot of waxes to have in your flask after not changing your SOP. I’m still going with heads…

Yeah i think heads. Some of those pictures do look like waxes but i think your experiments have sufficiently ruled out that possibility

Thanks to everyone who replied. Seems to have been heads contamination. Ran a 2nd pass yesterday taking it nice and slow thru heads, and the cloudiness was gone and has not reappeared.
