Distilling without vacuum

You might be able to have some luck with steam distillation? I remember @Beaker mentioning it a long time ago

Steam does NOT work for cannabinoids. Saw a group try for months and whole lot of nothing but nasty Terps.

Steam=Pressure which is the exact opposite of what you want for distilling Cannabinoids

So can someone explain how a volcano works?
If u absolutely need vacuum and extremely high temps, thennnn how does this work?

In one experiment, the Volcano vaporizer only yielded 24% of cannabinoids when set at a temperature of 170°C (338°F). However, the yield jumped to 77% when the vaporizer was set to 230°C (446°F).

Replace the air fan blowing the volcano with a sealed super heated argon injector and wallah

When does thermal degradation begin with THC distillate? Is it from going more caused from just super high heat or ramping heat too quickly? or both?

Too high of heat (which is measurable) will cause non condensable vapors

Hold on tight this one’s gonna get interesting! Popcorn ready!
