Thats fuckin brilliant
Yea I gotta agree with not using the paddle bit when stir plates are so cheap. If youâre going to use that you may as well get a paint mixing paddle but itâs only a matter of time until you spin the beaker/jar right out of your hands or off the table and it smashes⌠If youâre at the scale now or have bread for it, definitely get a homogenizer, thatâs ultimately the goal for mixing. But if you canât swing that just yet, you can get a pretty nice stir plate for a couple hundred bucks. That said, If you insist on the paddle bit, Iâd use a grinding wheel to lop that thing off, maybe a dremel. Even a small hack saw would do fine. Make sure you get the burrs if you go that route.
I like it! Another thought @replxce @RoseAlchemist @qma
~ Maybe glass beads - $29.95 for 8lbs cheaper than stainless & sterile
~alternate - microwave some uncooked rice for 60 seconds - then put in crockpot to maintain temp (not sterile but available everywhere when you just have to have it today)
