Solid suggestion for folks who know what they’re doing, and are doing it at scale.

If endpoint is distillate (as stated), residual solvent should not be an issue.
However, if this is essentially an “at home” operation (my impression, which certainly could be wrong), then it is unlikely OP has the appropriate knowledge or equipment to use methanol safely and is better off using ethanol (imo)

Care to share the risks involved and how you would mitigate if doing this with basic tooling (eg open buchner)?
