Countercurrent Liquid-Liquid Separation

Time isn’t the issue the energy is. You could get any size scale distillation system but the cost to run it gets very high, so generally the best way to combat that is to shrink your biomass or make the whole process more energy efficient. I would say fair warning to those that choose to scale up without doing your homework. As soon as someone else has a more efficient system your ship has sunk.

we can get you set up with equipment and also give you on site or in our lab classes on how to achieve your goals. we can do small scale 100 ml up to 100’ of kgs

By “shrink your biomas”, do you mean by putting it through a washing machine?

@FrenchyCannoli style?

yeah or sifting it or whatever. Even finely grinding helps. Whatever to shrink the overall volume

@Future I am confused a bit on LLE and have been looking hard for answers. Is this continuous LLE process done on your micelle stream but before distillation? Is it a method to remove heavy particles and replace traditional media based filtering? Where does it fit in the grand sceme of crude production? Thanks!
