CO2 capturing terps

that was certainly the criterion I used during my (very brief) exploration (thank you for your assist!)…but I can see how there might be multiple more “optimal” optima out there if one were to explore more thoroughly

Model is Apeks Transformer 10L

The program requires recovery of CO2 before harvesting terps. Recovery apparently entails compressing everything gas phase in the system into the CO2 tanks at our parameters.

I bled the tanks off again and increased the chiller set point and got stable tank pressure but very low comparable yield. The tanks expelled a terp smell upon bleeding pressure.

I’m waiting on new tanks, ones with all CO2, to continue at this point because it’s a cosolvent extraction at this point and I’m not trying to dial in THAT system.

Was this a full size system? What orifice were you able to get that psi?

overpressure fault after cleaning? temp your separator operating at? We found this is huge in collection/yield.

10 liter system. You can’t set the separator temp separately on the transformer. Only the chiller set point. The pressure was the tanks post-run, not the system during the run. Orifice set at 29%.

We used a “22” orifice at around 68° F on the chiller. This was many years ago so I may be slightly wrong. It’s what I remember.
We had a bambino and duplex. The bambino seemed to always pull the best on terp side.
