Thank you for sharing. Orthogonal analytical technique is necessary for quantitation of synthetics. Cannabinoid testing industry needs to establish a requirement for synthetic cannabinoids to be ran on both an LC and GC.

Curious to know how ACS is managing to provide most if not all of their Delta-8 product results with N/D THC. It’s a bit suspicious.

Appreciate the compliment.

Are there any conditions that would change the elution order on GC? Different mobile phases, different testing matrixes, etc?

I’ve seen someone attempt to specifically blame 4,8 iso-thc for d9 noncompliance in testing, which wouldn’t make sense on GC in the chromatograms from above

We just tested a sample that went from 4% D9-THC on HPLC to compliant just by testing it on GCMS. It makes a difference. Sometimes nearly 100%
