It may be so but i saw a lot of mystery peaks elute way before the main cannabinoids on the chromatogram and i can only explain it like this that they are shreded to different components.

Oh also! Recently found out that phosphoric acid (known acid to convert) contains like 60% of phosphoric pentoxide, that it’s not one molecule H3Po4 (phos acid), so this way is not so bad idea after all.
I assume you would add X grams of solid P2O5 very slowly (because the reaction is exothermic) into X ml of distilled water to make a 70% P2O5 solution and then use that solution for the isomerization reaction??
Appears that phos route is a bit different than just manual chemistry and names. And that drying phos for better d9 is used, which makes create diffetent acids mix, that is different from phos pentoxide (to make d9).

What can destroy THC?
It depends on the condition of your glassware and if your goal is actually 0%, it may be cheaper to buy new glassware. If its fancy stuff and worth the effort- I’d reflux clean multiple times with iso and/or methanol, followed by heated sonicator bath using multiple Alconox-brand Ultrasonic-compatible cleaners. If in doubt, you can always throw some piranha acid in there.

interesting, i was thinking of doing some kind of lye bath for glassware. Like KoH + isopropyl and let it sit for 2 days
That might etch your flask(if it isn’t already). what you are trying to clean? noids, sugar, polymerized junk are all cleaned differently and in stages imo.
it’s plausible your catalysts/project ruin your glass, but idk about that.

A lil 20% peroxide in there to make some caro’s acid
just a regular aqueous base bath and proper water rinse afterwards is more than enough, and certainly a lot more effective and efficient than anything involving acids
