CAT Homogenizer for vg tincture

Old thread, but after hearing about your homogenizers here I started perusing the CAT website. I noticed a warning about hexavalent chromium exposure related to using your products. As an environmental scientist who used to test for hex chrome, I was rather alarmed to see this. Would you be able to elaborate on what aspect of your equipment may be responsible for this risk? Thanks.

That’s all it takes to properly Homogenize ? I was looking to purchase a unit for mixing my tinctures, etc.
thanks for any info!

If you’re processing a BHO-VG solution, then yes that’s all it takes to properly homogenize.

Old thread, but I always become suspicious when one manufacturer talks badly about another manufacturer. I will look for a device on the Hielscher website and ask for an offer for an ultrasonic device for extraction.

personally im slightly concerned over them ignoring this question

@CATScientific

The Xexavalent chromium is from the zinc plated screws on the pedestal stand.
