haha i didnt mean it like that, i just meant if you need any custom pieces (valves, and whatnot) he could machine/fabricate and create them for you.
I know why you used italics there, but I would argue that shouldn’t be in italics.
Hamlet actuators hold up the best
Swagelok is ok
Automation is future!!
I run a bunch of Lunatech equipment…i will never got back to manual systems
I was pleasantly surprised with the Luna systems when i had a chance to see them in person and chop it up with the lunatech team at MJ bizcon. What do you like most about running their setup?
Thanks brother. Looking forward to helping out where I can.
Also fwiw, I’ve had much better luck with butech actuated needle valves in terms of reliability than any ball valve, but they are not a good option for high flow because they’re needle valves
turns out I may have valves…
stumbled onto a stash of activated 3" valves the other day. Haven’t dug into them to see what I actually have yet, but 1/2 dozen valves seems like a step in the right direction.
now if only I could locate the 1" valves I recall seeing…then I could prototype at a more reasonable )&^$(&#@)$_()+ing scale.
Becareful everything you do at that facility most likely will get ruined and changed once you step away. Always to many cooks in the kitchen
Looks like I’ve got two different styles of PBM valves & actuators. Automation & Controls - IMI PBM
four PAVBL453S-0125 and one PABTL4538 (?!?)
digging into what the above might mean now…
looks like the PAVB went obsolete in 2013.
guessing the odd one out is older.
FYI, there is actually an ISO standard (ISO 5211) for actuator/limit switch mounting that standardizes things like bolt hole layout and such. Most manufacturers confirm to it, from the looks of it these do as well
I was toying with idea of automating some of the process. I was looking at low voltage powr valvez. And tie it into alexa lol and use the smart plugs turn turn off ovens with video cams tied all into alexa app so i can monitor and control everything anywhere. seemed a simply way for me than more sophisticated setups iv seen
looking at three-way/diverter valves. not convinced that two regular valves isn’t a better solution, at least for manual operation.
looking for feedback on this style of diverter
vs the more common L or T drilled ball valves. (favorite drilling?!?)
We mostly use 90° L port valves, though T are nice to have available at times. I believe 180° need special (read: expensive) positioners if you want to be able to use all of the different configurations.
Sanitary diverters are sexy if you can afford them.
Those GEA varivent valves are bad ass. When it comes to systems that have a CIP process, they’re phenomenal. Head losses are almost nothing, there’s basically zero cross contamination, and they’re generally just very easy to clean.
For an extraction skid though, I think you’d need some very serious volume to consider that style and they are quite expensive. We bought a couple hundred of them as a steal off bidspotter for our irrigation system and I am stoked to use them instead of ball valves, especially because we’re doing 6"+
thank you. yeah, they look like a great approach.
at least I recognize they are the shit…
Tell the owner of Mach that his sales rep @MACHTechologies.Luke is costing him revenue.
He has now refused to give pricing twice to myself and an associate of mine on 2 different sales. He went with a bzb for his job and I think I’m gonna do the same for a consult client.
Can’t imagine that’s how dude wants his company run. Make a nice machine and invest money in marketing it and then at the 1 yard line some sales guy with no cannabis experience doesn’t do his simple ass job a monkey could do and you lose the sale you probably could have gotten fairly easily.
I wonder how many sales this guy fucks up every year at 200k a pop?
@standardoil
Carry on my friend.
The owner and I have a tremendous relationship and is well aware of your inquiries.
I continue to wish you the best of luck.
Every time you put an inquiry in…you use a different name and never want to talk.
Cheers!
Luke
I have never submitted an inquiry. Just on here. My associate has only submitted the one inquiry and only with the one name I’m assuming so I don’t know what you are talking about and it honestly sounds like some sort of weird unprofessional accusation. I ask for a price and you respond like that? I hope your competitors are getting a good laugh at the new chads on the block shooting themselves in the foot.
If this is your response instead of the pricing I requested I hope everyone that reads this will do themselves a favor and not waste time considering your company for extraction equipment since you apparently can’t even get a price on it.
I continue to wish you and your supreme leader the best of luck in this space. You guys seem to be absolutely crushing it.
The way you are typing out your responses, it sounds like you have some grudge that is beyond pricing. That is none of my business, I have had nothing but positive experiences dealing with Mach from the get-go. Mach helped us in many other ways beyond just selling us equipment. Not every customer is pleasant to deal with I have learned this over the years, maybe your just one of the unpleasant ones haha
