Cannabis derived terps are technically also a diluent, and studies are coming out that vaping any form of concentrated terpenes whether cannabis derived or not is bad four your lungs and overall health. Plus if the guy is buying shatter the terps from the cannabis are already in the product, so where would he get the cannabis derived terps from?
yeah i dunno about all that, when you said
that sorta brought us away from this specific case. the point that i would like to make is that you do not need to add a diluent to your oil for any reason.

What would be the process to CRC while winterizing? Also what is the benefit here to CRC? Just to make the product lighter?
I would prefer to not have a thinning agent used, I am aiming to keep the product as pure as possible

I currently make distillate carts and sell them. I wanted to start up a FSE line of cartridges. Just looking for the best way to go about it.

Why is it that terps from nice shatter would turn out bad? I always figured when making distillate the terps are gross because its a gross starting material. But wouldn’t nice starting material = nice terps?

Good luck, sounds like it’s gonna be kinda hard to do. Seems the terps aren’t going to be collectable with the sop you’re aiming for.

So really there is no way to decarb and not wreck the product hey?
What do they break down into? Something obviously fishy and rubbery! I know that much at least

Crc crude ;This works good for mid level thc cart.
Btw my stuff was always so skunky that even after heavy decarb tasted like disty with 5%canna terps added. I had really good material. I would run half w no terps and half w hemp terps at 3% . Most ppl liked the no flavor plain CRC crude the best. We like carts that best represent a hit of fire bud. Not fake taste
Otherwise source disty + canna/hemp terps fractions or hte

Your fats and waxes get dehydrated and some break down in smaller
Fatty chains
Rosin ftw
To use rosin in carts u would still need to decarb tho.
