I use PTFE joint sleeves but I also put a very very light application of Dow Corning Grease on both sides of the sleeve, making sure not to apply much or any grease at the lower part of the joint so it as to keep the possibility of grease contamination close to zero. This also helps preserve my sleeves so that I can reuse them over and over again (I have some of my sleeves that I’ve been using that lasts more than a year or two) Using this method I get no problems at all with vacuum leaks and no problems at all with joints sticking together.

yes, the ptfe sleeves (Glidemann rings) work as well.

Do sleeves work on a swing arm?
Yes they do.
Edit: although I cannot speak for the efficacy of the “Glidemann rings” as I have absolutely no experience with them.
