Yes we have a whole extra system just for distiling gas. Filter liquid phase going into distiller and gas phase coming out.

We dont use pumps tho 
. Also the pump typically isnt touching cannabinoids right? Just butane vapor? Even if there was cannabinoids in the vapor for what ever reason there not exposed to heat for a very long time. Wouldn’t it take abnormal heat and time for lets say myrcene to decompose to benzene?

Well then…
…and yeah, but hash does make it to the pump occasionally, and if not rectified immediately, ends up as a charred mess when the problem is finally dealt with.
So it is not out of the realm of possibility…occam would argue for “it’s in the gas…”
…except in your case, we’ve established “ain’t happening at the pump”…which points (imo) at the “tank” (possibly the railcar) this stuff gets to us via

we distill all our gas before using and recently saw benzene in some badder as well.
