So, bear in mind I don’t know if you used a solvent like acetone and possibly fogged up/damaged a coating on the glass at this point. I hope not, because I also wear glasses and I feel for ya.
Get some kimwipes or otherwise non-abrasive disposable napkins. Wet the kimwipe with heptane and wipe them down really thoroughly. Probably multiple kimwipes per side/per lens. The heptane probably won’t dry clean, there’s probably gonna be smudges or residue. But if you’ve done a good job with the heptane, you should be able to do a final wipe down with >95% isopropyl alcohol which should dry reasonably residue free.
I don’t know the materials you’re dealing with here, so I advise not letting a ton of solvent get on the frames or sit on these surfaces for very long. Heptane might eat some of the adhesive between the glass and the plastic if you let it set there for a while, but it shouldn’t insta-melt them.
