You are correct. If I had not had the experience of working with the Kratom biomass I would not have known why 7OH in bulk mass probably did not come as a natural product. It is a natural product, but no one is going to produce it profitably by extracting the in situ 7OH…you are correct about bulk mass being derived from natural Mitragynine.
The terminology concerning naturally derived extracts and semi-synthetic vs synthetic is sort of a work in progress. I thought original OP was struggling with his word description, and I am glad you have stepped in, as it might provide a more accurate way to accurately describe your Kratom products.
Why not: 7OH-Mitragynine derived from naturally occuring Mitragynine concentrates by our proprietary selective-oxidation procedure. Sold directly to public as acetate salt. color: off white; xyz% purity.
It would be straight forward ….but 4200 is not your gas station market . So I think marketing here in terms of specifics might be a bit more demanding ???
Since mitragynine is metabolized by CPA -3A in the human body to 7OH mitragynine …the whole issue may be somewhat moot…except for the pharmacodynamic phase.
