Seriously, why do people want or even like shatter?
Wax is so much better, taste and smoothness. It’s also much easier to make.
I don’t understand why the market demands shatter.

I guess it depends on where you are located. We see it fluctuate a lot. We make a “dry sugar” that seems to sell better than shatter and badder. Or at least it was. Now it seems to be shifting back to badder
But shatter is still very popular

Back in the day it was an easy way to tell if someone actually had their shit together and was dewaxing and using a vac oven.
Any asshat can open blast into a Pyrex and whip it into crumble. If you had a nice stable sheet of shatter generally you at least are using a vac chamber.
This was also before pine resin
