What is the smallest size my CLS material column can step down to for line attaching to CRC spool?

Hi I want to take my 1lb passive system, and set up the material column next to the CRC spool, next to the solvent take, somewhat akin to the rack mounted system pictured below. However, I’m concerned the lines below the material column might clog with oil. So I was hoping some folks could give me a bit of insight here… what did you do? What works? thank you!

Why would they clog?

seems like a big step down from the 3" column to a 1/4" line. I have seen soil oil collected on the 1" ball valve before for instance…

Run more solvent then usual

Were you cleaning ball valve between run or just closing & setting up for additional ? Shouldn’t have a proem condensing down as you’ll still be suspended in solvent. If needed though run a 3”-1.5 down then cap & connect to 1/4” oooooooor upgrade to 3/4” lines all throughout

I go from 4" to 3/8 without a problem.
