In my experience, most burnt coil issues occur when the heating rate exceeds the oil supply rate.
High-viscosity oil, low temperatures, excessive power, or poor saturation can all lead to dry spots on the heating surface. Once the ceramic isn’t replenished quickly enough, burnt flavors and coil damage often follow.
I’ve been evaluating several hardware structures recently and am curious to hear other perspectives.
