What can I use to get burned mantle off my new BF? The cheap mantle I got from lanphan Terry that broke left huge black marks that feel ethched into my BF. Has anybody had this issue and how should I go about getting it back to clear?
This might be a horrible idea, but have you considered steel wool or a razor blade with extremely light pressure?
No I’ve only tried iso and ethanol and denatured alcohol

Well a scratch on glass could potentially compromise it so maybe that was a bad idea, have you tried heat and iso or acetone?

Try hcl or naoh-water and then the other one
simple green for the win here, use ethanol first then simple green then more ethanol
