Waste, waste, waste

What is the best way to deal with the following waste?

•Extracted biomass from CO2
•Stems and seeds removed from biomass prior to extraction
•Fats and waxes removed after filtration post-winterization
•Distillate residue and mother liquor from isolation

Trying to make this a green process!

Thanks!

I work for HAL Extraction and I am looking into solutions for extractors that are in your situation. Did you end up solving your issue?

Yes, most of these byproducts are removed by a 3rd party company.

If you are in CA, the option will be a cannabis waste company like us (GAIACA). We compost the biomass as long as the ordinance for your location is allowing it to be classified as Non-Haz. We will render it on-site and take it to our composting facility. This will also apply to the stems and seeds. All organic (fats, waxes, distillate residue and mother liquor) waste falling under the Non-Hazardous Category will go to Waste to Energy.

Any mother liquor you’re looking to get rid of, i’d be happy to help take some off your hands as well. :+1:
