Hey!
I’m retrofitting a still to run under light vacuum.
I realized there’s a few bolts and gaskets that certainly aren’t designed for vacuum. I googled around a bit and it seems like vacuum Putty is a thing? Anyone used it before?
Just need something removeable and reuseable that can form fit I think.
I’ve used food grade 100% silicone for diy gaskets will this work?

Yeah I’ve got some compressible gasket that seem to be working ok in atmosphere. It’s unfortunately just an old piece of equipment with a bolt on lid. So there’s like 60 tiny bolts that I should probably have covered.
It’s likely not going to be a huge issue as long as the CFM of my pump can keep up with the leaks.
Pilsbury biscuits!
Old Skool used flour paste…
Works for slight vac @ slight pressure.
Ask the all knowing one if you need
