Using nitrogen and Argon gas flow through system

most of the time argon is a waste of money, unless you know you need argon just go with N2

N2 is cheap and effective

Anyone think this little guy would be a sufficient flow meter to trickle nitrogen or argon in to a 5L SPD or 10L reactor to inert atmosphere during operation? Connected to a low output psi regulator on the tank of course.

Hi,
If you are looking to backfill the apparatus, or come back to atmospheric pressure it should work fine. If you want to run it during the distillation constantly the flow rate is a little high.
Remember the flow meters scale is calibrated to metering gas into atmosphere, under vacuum conditions the flow rate changes.
