i have a various certified and uncertified equipment from bizzy, precision, corken, etc
whats a good asking price for selling said equipment.
when asked what im looking for im not sure how to respond
most know the prices paid for high end name brand gear and i dont expect to get anywhere near that but dont want to take a huge hit if possible
is 50% reasonable or could i start higher on some items?
def open to different offers as far as if someone buys more stuff or just one item. and im open to payments and trades but was looking for a ballpark cash price to be able to respond to inquiries

I’d say 50% is optimistic for anything that isn’t well recognized as a solid piece of kit and great value.
Feel free to ask 50% of MSRP but don’t be surprised if you get get anything near it.
20% or less is not uncommon and a pretty fair price for a lot of stuff out there these days. More companies going bankrupt and fire saleing gear than buying it.
My experience is .25-.33 on the dollar. Hell I struggled to sell a kd10 brand new just out of box for .33 of purchase price not including taxes.
It all comes down to timing. If you find the right person in need at the right time 50% may be workable. If you need to be liquid asap best prepare for half that.
I watch and buy all sorts of used equipment for the lab and I completely agree with the above, most people are sitting on their equipment for a long time even at 25-30% of their original purchase price.
Its a great time to buy but a horrible time to sell.
