Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked on and off as a consultant—mainly helping folks out with engineering, architecture, permitting, buildout and equipment design—just to make a few bucks on the side.
As of recently, I’ve decided to take a swing at making consulting my full-time gig. Aside from the typical “here’s how you build a processing facility for cannabis” service that most folks offer, I’ve included additional services for operations and compliance.
For the past year I worked as CEO of a manufacturing organization and really got to implement organizational changes that we often don’t get to implement at the operator level. From this experience, and the many successes and failures I collected along the way, I found that I have a deep love for operations.
I also found that operations in the cannabis space typically neglect a lot of data and/or don’t know how to utilize that data to drive business decisions. I can say, emphatically, that efficiently collecting and leveraging data was a significant factor in my company’s transition from losing a boatload of money every month to having a positive balance sheet (and over 800% year over year revenue growth!)
I feel passionate that providing these tools, and MANY more, to cannabis businesses can serve as a way to amplify their success and I’m here to offer any support I can.
