Depends on who is doing it and what process they run but generally it’s removed via reverse phase chromatography and “disposed of”

Who gets the trash is it any good or just garbage
Depends on the contract and how sketchy/legal the operation is. Usually the person with the material doesn’t want the THC back because they can’t legally have it but you know, it’s almost like this was all illegal a few years ago so anything is game. It is definitely still usable if removed via chromatography
