I’m new to the industry, love what im seeing from everyone on this site. Question, i recently bought THC crude that was run to 4 microns and rotovapped. Was told to filter down to 1 micron and re rotovap. In order to do this i must re winterize but never have done this before. Would love your feedback about my situation. Thank you.

After rotovap into short path.
I had bought crude once before and it was ready go into short path. This time was supposed to be the same but when i picked up i was told to filter and rotovap.
If you need to re winterize it, get your crude back into a 10:1 ethanol:crude mix and re freeze. Then filter thru a 1 micron and you should be good to rotovap it and shortpath no problem after it’s been decarbed.

Thats what i was afraid of. Had to take over and too small of equipment, but we’ll work it out. I really really appreciate the input.
