What’s the latest tek on decarbing badders or hte while preserving terps without separating first
Assuming pulling a vac on a closed chamber/reactor and heating but lmk equipment and sop to do at scale (scale being 10-100 kilos)
Thanks!

Not to be that guy, but yeah
I did search it, maybe not thorough enough, not sure if anything’s changed as of late, hoping to spark some discussion. Thanks tho
Spin off the terpenes and decarb the rest
Or get a crystallization reactor and crash out the thc and decarb it.
no it FUCKING DOESN’T!!!
it DOES change boiling points, but it has zero effect on the number of ergs required to decarboxylate cannabinoids (see: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0022286010009270 AND/OR Mechanism and kinetics of CBDA decarboxylation into CBD in hemp | Journal of Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology | Springer Nature Link for details on how many ergs that might be).
if sparking discussion is your goal, please post on one of the (many) threads you found… so the next visitor has context.
Interestingly, vacuum does not lower decarb reaction temp.
Edit: what @cyclopath said.
