yeah thats what i was hoping to see but nothin… i put it in the deep freezer too.
Maybe it’s so pure that the temp change is causing rapid crystallization. So nothing fell out at 0F?
no nothing fell out, weve gotten 91%+ and not experienced that type of action. i had my condenser set to 58, ad my evap set to 165 so you might be right. that was my theory but it suprises me that its “only” 80%.
I’m no chemist but I’ve seen rapid temp changes or pressure changes cause stuff to crystallize real quick. It’s always when I don’t want it to lol.
If it were me I would heat it up to 150f or until it’s fully liquid and let it cool over night and see what it does.
I’ve ran across material that seems to have a fat or a lipid that methanol won’t drop out. It’s usually a super small amount though nothing like what you have.
