Storing Distillate

What are you guys using for final storage/sale of your distillate? Vacuumed mason jars? Media bottles? Beer fermentation jars? Trying to prevent oxidation in the container without breaking the bank.

Thanks

pour into media bottle with glass capillary blowing argon into the media bottle,Seal with parafilm around cap.

I just gas it real hard with nitrogen and cap it.

Nitrogen gas is a great way to store it and also keeping in under vacuum is another excellent idea to keep the color bodies down

Really? Never heard of Parafilm? Stuff is pretty ubiquitous in laboratories…

Displace the air in the flask with inert gas, pour warm, and avoid bubbles.

Is it as easy as blasting nitrogen in there while quickly closing the lid?

Yes, just don’t shoot hard. Just flood the surface.

What about putting it in a freezer. Does that help?

Can you show us a picture of you gasin it real hard

You can pasteurize on a hot plate before storage to help with shelf life as well.
