Agreed. Horrible manufacturing on the wiper blade housing. They also will do things like send a set of PTFE blades, and all three are cut to different lengths. Like they’re just eyeballing it with no cutting tool…
eyeballing
I know someone local with senco wipers, ( if your not him) that is wanting to het rid of one or more.
Not one manufacture can UL anything in China. Or even over seas with a rare exception with multi billion dollar international corps.
You have to be all of this to even submit a unit for UL certificate.
- Usa company.
- Registered, licensed, bonded, ein/tax I’d and blanket business inventory/insurance, and also documented gmp.
- Liability insurance, personal injury end user insurance, blanket legal coverage.
- Must have a entity/individual who is liable and responsible.
- Once all these items are met multiple samples are usually sent to ul for the smoke/fire room environment testing. They are a in, you basically pay for the stamp. China isn’t sending anything there for the validation.
- Gmp origin must be followed and documented in a special way from that moment forward.
You absolutely cannot UL anything over seas without extensive and exclusive white glove handling from such a authority. You can however get the source manufacturer of ul determined parts Wich are ce/csa direct from say Hitachi electrical or even Samsung or whatever it might be and purchase the parts that come in specific ul rated components. However using a ul capacitor without validated wire and terminal blocks for instance cancels out any good efforts while using those rated components.
