So I have noticed a few people trip out with the silicone containers that people put their dabs/budder/bho/wtfever in. They say the silicone leeches chems into the dabs. Is this true? Or are these the same people that smoke weed with hemp rope?
Gross silicone has made my dabs turn blue back in the day. Had to throw it away.
Just wash it in the dishwasher first and only use for dry dabs not wet terpy stuff

Yeah, I figured anything with any sort of solvent left in it would corrode just about anything but glass. So it would have to be good stuff that you put in it.
Just use glass bro.

Exactly! Though some have nice colorful stickers and labels on em… Ones that say “HIGH THC” and the extracts are clear… but dated from 2 years ago… lol. Thats the best stuff! (Or so I’m told)

Terpenes are great solvents.
Have you tried limonene based degreasers?
Silicone is NOT compatible with terpenes.
Use glass or ptfe.
