I’m with everyone who suggested the threaded fittings. Pipe threads suck ass.
If you have a vac pump you could try hooking the exhaust up to make a shitty pump and allow you to leak check via soap suds (simple green actually works best). Or you can pull vacuum and brush the joints with food coloring/water and inspect your joints after a while
I have a ryobi hand held 18v tire pump that will do 100psi in a little rig that size, before I had nitrogen, I had a tire chuck to jic fitting I pieced together to do pressure testing.
@Dankrupt, go to harbor freight and buy el cheapo torque wrench and a sae deep socket set, find the correct torque for your clamps, and tighten accordingly.
Check the gaskets and all that jazz like @jimikushking said too I’d say.
