Scfm of nitrogen or co2 tank

Good evening. I’m trying to help a client in a cbd lab figure out the approximate gpm of their versa matic ptfe fitted aodd pump. For the time being they want to use a co2 or nitrogen tank to power thier aodd until their large air compressor arrives. I’m wondering if anyone knows what scfm a co2 or nitrogen tank can produce at 30psi and if using one of those two gases is comparable to an air compressor. Thank you

what is the tank size?

that will operate the unit, but wont be anywhere comparable to the amount of air the air compressor will provide

like @Dirteagle said, you wont have more than 30 min max.

Nitrogen yes (edit: not a liquid nitro tank) co2 no. What size tank and what pressure? Regardless of the answer to the question, you’ll maybe get 15 mins of use even with the largest bank cylinders out there.

Wait for the compressor or go buy a few small ones from home depot.

There is a 50lb c02 tank and a small nitro tank. It’s going from a -50c ethanol wash into a #2 bag filter then into a 20” 5 micron cartridge filter then a 20” 1 micron cartridge filter.

The cartridge filters are supposed to be ran @ no more than 30psi.

you will get 440 cubic feet from a 50# tank, check out this site.

If it put the values in correctly you will get around 15 cf of work.

@TheGratefulPhil you got any insite to boyles law? Can you check the maths?
