Titles pretty self explanatory. Was seeing residual etOH when we came out of the rotovap and crashed, even with vac oven. Decided to take rotovap temp up to 86C to see how much more ethanol we could pull out without adding another step to the SOP, extract crashed out in the flask and I can’t get it out. Anybody run into this before and have any suggestions before I start digging it out with a wire hook?

Already tried heat gun and going back to the rotovap at 95C but dont wanna push it too far and end up decarbed

add solvent and dissolve them again
or break the glass

dissolve in a minimum amount of pentane and recrystallize.

Last run on these parameters came back 84% thc-a on the same material so i’m pretty certain its what I’m looking at

Wow, that’s some nice extract! I’m surprised prolonged time at 86C didn’t itself start some decarb.

Did manage to get the whole thing to detach from the wall, i think I’ll be able to break it apart and get it out now. Thanks everybody for your input.
