Pump Issues...noob mistake

So a worker forgot to put oil in our Edwards 30 before doing a SPD run…

Doh!

The pump was making weird noises but no one really noticed…3hr in it completely siezed up and stopped working.

I quickly inspected and realized no oil, I added some trying to save it but didnt turn it on yet…

Is it destroyed? What can I do asides from send it in…

If it seized you need to open up and see what got damaged. Probably a partial rebuild most likely. Nobody on the internet can say what exactly is broken. Post photos of the internal to have an idea.

Have a SOP for oil changes so this basic stuff isn’t forgotten.
